Stage 1<\/strong><\/p>

The first challenge awaits after just a few kilometres. From Mauthen, the Pl\u00f6cken Pass road (B111) winds its way up in tight hairpin bends to Passo di Monte Croce Carnico (1,360 m). There are 36 bends to master.<\/p>

Stage 2<\/strong><\/p>

The drive to Timau is a pure driving pleasure. The road winds through dense forests and past small mountain villages where time seems to stand still. It continues through the small Lesachtal valley \u2013 here Italy shows its original side: Narrow roads, lined with alpine meadows and old farms, lead towards Sappada.<\/p>

Stage 3<\/strong><\/p>

The return journey leads to Innichen \u2013 a cultural gem in the heart of the Dolomites.
